Hire Luke to develop and record custom drum tracks from a demo, reference, chart or production brief. Remote drum recording is available worldwide, alongside in-person studio sessions in the East Midlands.
Choose acoustic drums, electronic or hybrid parts, MIDI, percussion overdubs, editing, or a recorded-and-mixed package. Sessions are managed in Logic Pro with a broad professional plugin collection available for editing, production and reference mixes.
Recording equipment
Luke can perform your drum part in real time on his Roland electronic kit, capturing the detail and dynamics of an actual performance as clean, editable MIDI. The part can then be developed in EZdrummer using a huge range of kicks, snares, toms, cymbals, rooms and kit combinations.
This expands what is possible beyond a single acoustic setup: tightly controlled modern drums, larger-than-life sounds, unusual combinations or production-ready tones selected specifically for the track—without sacrificing the feel of a drummer playing the part.
The blue Recording Custom offers a focused, controlled studio sound with plenty of tuning range.
The white Hybrid Maple provides a distinct alternative voice for larger, more open or modern drum sounds.
A broad Zildjian cymbal collection, Roland electronic drums and SPD-SX allow acoustic, electronic and hybrid parts to be built around the song.
Multiple Shure, Sennheiser, Aston, Electro-Voice, Samson, RØDE, Beyerdynamic and Audix microphones, captured through a Focusrite 18i20.
